Theory of Change/Logic Model Services

A Theory of Change or Logic Model is a schematic, transparent and reliable statement of how the resource inputs of a policy or program will support activities that produce outputs known to have a strong influence on outcomes. Organizations make use of a Theory of Change to guide decisions about program design and implementation. Evaluators use a Theory of Change to guide assessments of program quality and effectiveness. Funders such as foundations and governments use a Theory of Change to determine whether to supply resources and how much to supply based on their determination of the validity of the theory. Increasingly, all interventions in society are being required to have an updated, well-documented Theory of Change based on reputable research and connected to ongoing evaluation.
